Last time we spoke about finding our identity in Christ and how to stop limiting ourselves today. We are going to continue our conversation with Emma, and she's going to tell us about her book. Speaker 1 00:01:41 Welcome back, Emma, let's continue where we left off something. That's very unique about you and I love people who are differently creative. I just, I have not come across anyone who hand calligraphed forms. Tell me something about it. That's something.
Speaker 2 00:02:02 Yeah, I, um, so one of my like spiritual gifts is like the gift of prophecy. Um, and I have this knack, well, I shouldn't say I, God has given me this, this neck for being able to speak into people's lives prophecies that just really hit their heart about who they are. Maybe again, coming back to that identity thing of like, it's, it's just speaks to them about how God sees them, you know? Um, and so I discovered that I had this and I started doing these hand calligraphy poems for people's like birthday presents or like engagement, engagement, party gifts. Um, and so then yeah, it just became something that I just started doing. I'm like, okay, well, if all the people want one, then you can have one too. Um, and so yeah, it's something that I think is very, it's very special to get something from someone about, wow, this is how God me, you know, um, to get a real insight into the beauty that your soul has and the beauty and of, of how God's created you, because sometimes we get so clouded in our thoughts because we can only see ourselves the way that we see ourselves and we don't trust when other people give us compliments.
Speaker 2 00:03:19 We were like, oh, they're just saying that because they're being nice. So when someone who's completely removed from the situation is then writing a poem and giving it to you about your value and your worth in God. Like I find it just really hits home that much more, you know, because they have no benefit to doing this. And so, you know, that everything that is written is, is real and it's true. Um, yeah. So that's how that all started.
Speaker 1 00:03:46 You have a book that you are released. I'm so excited. So if I want to get it in India or anywhere in the world, whoever's listening, do you have a ebook offer or?
Speaker 2 00:03:57 I do, yeah. I have ebook it's on Amazon and it's on like iTunes books. Uh, and it's on, um, was it Booktopia, I don't know if you guys get Booktopia in India. Um, so it's on a few like online, um, websites, cause obviously shipping can be quite expensive internationally, but yet the ebook version is, is definitely available on Amazon and on iTunes. Um, so yeah, feel free to, to download that. I wrote, I wrote these poems, like I was saying, like they were very personal poems about me going through situations, um, and kind of processing that. And then also just like me, just brain dumping about my love for God. And then, um, me getting like, you know, prophetic words of God speaking over me and writing them down. And, and then I just felt like God's like, I want you to share these poems with people because what you've gone through, other people have gone through as well.
Speaker 2 00:04:52 And, and the words I've spoken over, you can encourage them as well. And so obviously at first I was like, oh, this are really possible. I don't know if I want to share these or, you know, but like, as I said, when I went through that journey of doing this with God, I got so excited because how many people need to hear that loving God voice spoken over them? Um, especially if you don't have like the, the natural, like prophetic gift to hear God's voice or you really struggled to hear holy spirit. I know that's, that's a really common thing, you know, that we really do struggle to hear the voice of God sometimes. And we can be reading a Bible and not getting any kind of personal impact out of that. And so this book is so lovely and that you can just open it up and you just feel that like, oh, like he's speaking straight to me in this book. And so, yeah, I, I that's, that's the vision of the book. That's why I released it. Um, and so I hope that everyone that reads that has, has an equally impactful experience reading it.
Speaker 1 00:05:55 Um, yes, I'm going to go grab it. I think anyone who's listening, I think it's what grabbing it. I'm super excited to pick it up and read it and share it with a few friends that I've spoken to about. And everyone cited here to go in and read poems. Uh, fantastic.

Speaker 1 00:06:14 You know, there are a lot of girls. I know, um, they have a gift. Okay. So all girls ministry is all about encouraging women to, you know, launch them into that gift so that they can use that gift to, you know, to bless the kingdom of God to spread the gospel. Uh, but there are so many girls who are still thinking, is this the right time? I just want you to encourage them because I think what you've gone through. And I think you started off very small and now God is taking you in this two years, uh, in so many places. Uh, do you want to encourage them?
Speaker 2 00:06:49 Yeah, I think, um, do everything prayerfully because I do think that it can be the right idea in the wrong time. Um, but take that as the preparation season then before it's time to launch, like, I, it was, um, January when God said, I want you to release your Palm book. And it was October before it was actually out and I didn't want it to be a rushed job. Like I took that time to really, you know, make sure it was done to a quality that I was happy with, that I would be proud of, of putting out there and knowing it represented God, you know? And then, um, it was after that, that God said about the podcast. So I think, yeah, sometimes it's just saying yes, and then he releases that next part of the vision and the next part of the vision, the next part of the vision, and that's how it grows.
Speaker 2 00:07:39 Um, but also sometimes God can say, this is what I'm preparing you for. And it's not a, now a journey. It's a future thing that will happen, but take that preparation time to really get your heart right. Get, get the things in line that you need to do so that when that time comes around, that you're ready to launch into that. You know? So if God's putting on your heart that, you know, you need to be starting a business so that you need to be studying to be a teacher or whatever it is, like start to get that preparation in order of even speaking that are in your mind every day of like, yes, this is what I'm going to be doing. This is now the vision, the path, the journey, and helping that build your confidence in, in following those, those dreams. And if God is nudging you to say, do it now, now, now like don't delay, you know, doing it.
Speaker 2 00:08:32 It's okay. That it's scary. It's okay. That it's new. That's how you're going to learn. You know, and trust that of God's asked you to do it. Then there's a reason that he's asking you to do it. He's not gonna set you up for failure. He's not gonna make you do something and fall flat on your face. And then he's gonna laugh at you. Like that's not who he is. Everything's for a reason, everything has a purpose. Everything has a lesson, you know, um, and things don't always look like the way we expect them to look like. Uh, again, it comes back to, if you're thinking of doing something that you wouldn't have picked for yourself, that's a pretty good sign and that's not from you. So, um, if you're getting those nudges and they're not going away, that's a pretty good sign that that's something that you should be starting to work on, you know?
Speaker 2 00:09:15 Um, yeah. Have some, have some people around you who will encourage you to actually pursue those visions that you feel safe enough to say I'm getting these thoughts. What are you guys think? Do you think that sounds like a good thing? Or is that sound like something that, you know, I would pick for myself or whatever, and if they're like, oh wow. Like I can really see you doing that. I think you'd be great at that then. Yeah. That's, that's good confirmation that, that that's something that God potentially wants you to do, be pursuing in your life. Um, and then they can encourage you when you get those moments of doubt of like, oh no, I don't think this is right. I don't think I should have been doing that. And they can be like, no, like I definitely feel like should keep doing it, push through. So yeah. Have good people around you.
Speaker 1 00:09:57 Yeah. I have good people have Paul have, yeah. I think, yeah. People who encourage you and lift you, um, instead of people who will show you that it's not working.
Speaker 2 00:10:09 Yeah.

Speaker 2 00:10:11 That's it. People who went crushed you down, but people who will always encourage you to pursue God's best, real alive.
Speaker 1 00:10:18 Uh, so Emma, do you have anything exciting coming up? Any new project, anything that you want to tell us about like a sneak peek?
Speaker 2 00:10:26 Um, I'm trying to think. I think I'm just, yeah, really, really working on the podcast at the moment. I'm trying to release that more often. Um, and I heard that it's really helpful for people who have those questions about Christianity. Like if you're not a Christian and you're, and you're confused about it, or you're trying to talk to someone else about Christianity that's that doesn't know much about it. Like I'm really hoping that these episodes will help make that path easier. Um, yeah. I'm working on a, um, a memoir book at the moment actually as well, this, this, this will be in the works for a little while, so I don't know when it will be released, I'm still writing it, but it will basically be like my testimony in a book. So, um, yeah, I'm hoping again that it will encourage people. Who've walked through similar things in their life to just see how God has worked through their life. Um, and, and it's all built up to help create them, the person that they are today and how God has always been there in the background, even if they didn't realize it at the moment. Um, sometimes we realize later down the track that he's always been there. So I'm writing that book at the moment. So I don't know when that will be out. Hopefully in the next few years, books are books are interesting journey of publishing and editing. So, um, yeah, but the first step will be finishing, writing it. So working on that,
Speaker 1 00:11:51 We pray that it is a completion. Uh, hopefully we were able to, you know, meet again, uh, and talk about it when you are ready with a book, it will be interesting. We will look forward to it.
